This is a critical task. Talk to anyone sourcing chips. The supply chain is vulnerable. This effort can harden America’s chip supply while enhancing our entrepreneurship!

About 93 percent of road deaths occur in developing countries, and 75 percent of those involve motorcycles. To help relieve this issue, the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute is creating the Motorcycle Collision-Alert and Management System with the goal of reducing motorcycle related crashes.

Virginia 4-H camps are providing inspiring experiences for future #Hokies. 🧡Each summer, the W.E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center at Smith Mountain Lake hosts hundreds of campers, many on scholarship. During the camp, campers participate in activities that build confidence, foster friendships, and provide opportunities many participants wouldn't have otherwise.

Evacuating a space quickly and safely during an emergency has life-saving consequences, but it is known that feeling stressed impacts a person's ability to exit a building quickly. A Virginia Tech researcher is working alongside Northern Illinois University and the University of Virginia to develop a model that could help understand how to make evacuations safer.
