Riggs Thomas Ludlow Riggs, 84, of Route 5, Box 484, Cheek Road, died this morning in Durham County General Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Clements Funeral Chapel. Conducting will be Rev.

Ron Harrison. Burial will in the Addison family cemetery. He was a lifelong resident of Durham. He was a retired employee of 47 years with Liggett Myers Tobacco Co. There are no immediate survivors.

The family will be at Clements Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. J.C. Yates James Connie Yates, 65, of Route 6, Box 494-B, Mineral Springs Road, died last 1 night in Durham County General Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.

Thursday in the Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Conducting will be the Rev. Toby Stone and the Rev. Fred Rivenbark. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
