We’ve united and are combining our resources to bring customers the connectivity, service, and value they deserve. We are taking things to an entirely new level! With the arrival of the new T-Mobile, consumers and businesses win—when it's more important than ever.

We're building a transformative nationwide 5G network that will drive innovation and connect every American. With T-Mobile's low-band, Sprint's mid-band, and other spectrum, we'll build the highest-capacity nationwide network in U.S. history. Check out our 5G details.

What will happen to the T-Mobile and Sprint brands?

Both brands will continue to exist and over time everything will evolve to T-Mobile.

Beginning August 2, both companies will begin unifying under the T-Mobile brand for the first time. While T-Mobile will emerge as the combined companies’ flagship brand in retail, web and advertising, Sprint customers will experience a slower transition, seeing the brands represented as a combined company in their direct communications and on the website when doing Sprint account maintenance. Account maintenance and management will not change for Sprint customers at this time!

What can new customers look forward to?

The new T-Mobile is here and it’s going to be amazing.

  • T-Mobile customers should expect everything the Un-carrier has ALWAYS stood for: treating customers right, the best value in wireless, and aggressive pricing.
  • With 14 times more total capacity in the next six years than T-Mobile would have had alone, we will have the highest capacity network in U.S. history.

What will happen with Sprint and T-Mobile retail stores?

As T-Mobile emerges as the newly combined company’s flagship brand in retail, the majority of Sprint stores have been updated with T-Mobile branding and a fresh coat of magenta paint, and most T-Mobile branded stores can serve both Sprint and T-Mobile customers.With a few exceptions, ourstores and store employees can now serve Sprint and T-Mobile customers as well as T-Mobile customers. In these stores, Sprint and T-Mobile customers can walk in and the employees will be able to say, "Yes, we can help you!"

  • National retail stores like Best Buy and a small subset of retail stores in rural areas will continue to serve Sprint customers only.

Will I get access to the other carrier’s network now that you’re combined?

For now, customers will use two distinct networks, Sprint and T-Mobile.

Both Sprint and T-Mobile customers will continue to get great coverage, and over time the two networks will combine to create one supercharged network. Meanwhile, we’re working on ways to make it easy to migrate Sprint customers who wish to do so, stay tuned!
