Cycad Restaurant & Bar
Breakfast is served each morning in the open air restaurant, and included in the rate for guests staying.Cycad, is open for dinner most nights. Dinner bookings are essential and are taken until 4pm on the day. Please contact the property if planning on arriving after 4pm. The restaurant does not open for lunch. Please advise any dietary requirements prior to guest arrival.

Location
The Daintree Wilderness Lodge is located 2 hours north of Cairns Airport, over the Daintree River and in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest. Ideally, you should aim to travel up before dark. Follow the Captain Cook Highway out of Cairns, heading north.
Travel for 1 hour and reach Mossman, which is a small town. You will see a sign about 30 minutes out of Mossman indicating the Daintree River Ferry Crossing and directing you to Cape Tribulation. Take this turn off to your right.
Travel over the river by ferry (open from 6am until midnight). This is charged at $47 per vehicle return (subject to change). Once you have crossed the ferry, you will travel over the Alexandra Range for about 14km to get to the Lodge. You will go through Cow Bay, cross over Hutchinson Creek and see a school on your right hand side (Alexandra Bay Primary). Once you have seen the school, it is only about 1km on your right side. You will see a large patch of lawn and our signs out the front.
There is limited mobile reception for most mobile carriers north of the river (Telstra and Optus has some limited mobile coverage), so if you are lost, stop and ask someone. Everyone knows where we are.
