KCI Technologies, Inc. is thrilled as we approach the final stages of our stormwater management project with the Town of Wake Forest, NC! Our focus has been on developing the Horse Creek Watershed Management Plan, aimed at identifying and prioritizing potential management measures to diminish nutrient loads within both the Town and the Wake County sections of the watershed. These efforts are poised to assist the Town of Wake Forest in meeting the requirements of the Falls Lake Nutrient Reduction Strategy. This strategy aims to reduce nitrogen loads, consequently minimizing harmful algal blooms in Falls Lake, a crucial regional water supply reservoir for the City of Raleigh Municipal Government and neighboring communities including Wake Forest.KCI is excited about working with the Town to devise effective nutrient reduction strategies, ultimately fostering water quality improvements in Falls Lake.Jason DollLeah Young, P.E.#WAFO#KCIrisetothechallenge
